COVID-19 Studio Safety Protocols
In times of stress such as the world is experiencing at this time, the practice of art can provide a much needed mental health break. It is our good fortune to have a wide open studio space in which social distancing is practical. This, along with mandatory masks, high quality air cleaners and a reduced number of students in each class, has allowed us to continue offering such an opportunity.
We ask all students, members and staff to commit to the following:
- If you feel sick - STAY HOME! This includes any sort of symptom. Headache, nausea, aches, fatigue, anything out of the ordinary.
-
Wash your hands with soap first thing upon arriving in the studio and through out class.
-
Observe minimum 6 ft social distancing
-
Wear your mask while in the studio
Please notify the studio immediately if you
test positive for the coronavirus!
Communal tools and surfaces will be disinfected by staff after each class.
Students and members must bring their own:
-
Apron and/or towel
-
Pen or pencil (for record keeping)
-
A SMALL bucket or large bowl for water
-
Basic clay tools. You may buy a set from the studio for $18.69, order one online, or buy one at Marjons or Michaels.
-
You may also wish to bring gloves. The studio will have a supply of gloves available as well.
Thank you to everyone for your cooperation, and for making it possible for us to remain open during this pandemic in a safe and responsible manner.
ABOUT
All levels welcome! Whether you are a beginner or experienced potter, our classes give you the freedom to create custom functional or sculptural pieces. We are located near the Campbell corridor, on Ft. Lowell just west of Campbell, at 1703 E. Ft. Lowell Rd.
Owner /Instructor Rebecca Pincus
I love throwing and hand-building equally! After more than 20 years working in clay, I find my excitement never lessens.
It's earthiness, and the magic of the glazes, still inspire me every day. I believe my strength as an instructor is in identifying a student's goals and encouraging their unique vision.
